Softball

6 weeks now and still no stats for softball players in the Sunday Herald. Even on Mother's day the coaches don't think to put the girls stats in so mothers and grandmothers can see how their girls and granddaughters are doing. Most softball coaches have not turned in stats to the Herald all season. All other spring sports report weekly. These girls are strong competitors and being competitive means they want to know what the other players are doing and where they stand individually. I would like to know from the Herald the name of the only coach reporting weekly. Infact, put those stats in your paper! Herald, you are not doing your job when you do not go out and get this information. The disclaimer of "all coaches were asked to provide statistics for this report" does not work anymore. WTF....it's the end of the season already. No wonder they are removing softball from the next Olympics. The local coaches & newspapers are helping with this lack of interest in the sport. The Herald should not put ANY stats in the paper until ALL coaches from ALL the sports have reported. That will get the phones ringing. To softball girls; Great job! I'm proud of your hard work!
