Watching the Anacortes girls dismantle Bellingham last week while four sport all-star Britney Janz sat on the bench for 1 1/2 quarters, it appears the SeaHawks may have the most potent squad in Anacortes if not Northwest Girls Basketball history. When Janz was on the court she completely dominated the action with passes, steals, fastbreaks and defensive moves that were astounding to the entire crowd. She scored 22 Points. She has scored more than 20 points every game of the 4-0 season so far and only played a full game against Mt. Vernon on a night that Anacortes went 7 for 20 at the foul line in the first half. If you like quality basketball and want to see truly a well rounded squad put it all together, follow the SeaHawks this year. By the way, this coming Friday Burlington goes to Anacortes for the first big test of the season. Want to make any bets.
